PARAFFIN RESULTS
Despite chemical paraffin treatment and a production temperature of 104°F, this pad of 4 wells required the trunk line to be pigged twice a week. 9 days after treating 1 well, the pigging crew reported that no more paraffin was found during the pigging operations.
During this period, the average temperature was below 81°F with night time temperatures dropping as low as 60°F.
EMPIRICAL RESULTS
At our technology’s lowest power setting, we achieved an 8.4% drop in the paraffin’s Wax Appearance Temperature (WAT). The WAT temperature fell from 101.3°F to 92.8°F.
The WAT testing was done at Louisiana Tech University using MDSC testing where the samples were heated to 90°C and then cooled 1°C per minute to -20°C.
LAB RESULTS
Our proprietary technology is utilizing quantum mechanics to affect electron spin. For paraffin treatment, the primary effect is the weakening of the Van der Waal forces between the hydrocarbon molecules.
